Stardancer is the middle "child" of 5 seekers...

First was Swiftwind, a level headed femme with a knack for calming other mechs down, even when they are consumed by rage and blind with anger. She, too, dislikes war, but considers herself obligated to "protect" her younger sibling, something Starfire does not take very kindly too.

Then, when Swiftwind was already fully matured, their creator made triplets. Two boys and a girl, Starstreak, Starfire, and Starblaze. The two boys were murdered when the three were only a few vorns away from entering the Academy, dying to protect their sister, who has hated herself ever since, and driven herself to the brink to find their killer.

Finally is Bombshell, another femme and the youngest of them all, barely "legal" in Transformers years, and relatively new to war. She is rather sheltered, and doesn't like to fight, though she struts and poses like she's a seasoned warrior, which often gets her into trouble...

Anywho, Starfire used to be a happy sparkling, and actually enjoyed life, but after her brothers died she became cruel and cold, hyper focusing and channeling her self-loathing, regret, and anguish into making herself the perfect killing machine. She has been the cause for the deaths of untold numbers of Decepticons.

Now they find themselves on earth, trapped in the middle of a battle in which none of them may make it out alive.
